Our Lady of Mount Carmel 67th Annual Novena Saturday, July 11th through Sunday, July 19th

Theme of This Year’s Talks: Our Lady and the Beatitudes

Please join us on our pilgrimage of faith and prayer under the patronage of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

This Year’s Speaker: is Father Fadi Auro
Associate Pastor, Ascension Parish

Each evening’s schedule of events:
Marian Musical Prelude - 6:45 p.m.
Rosary and Benediction - 7:15 p.m.
Eucharistic Liturgy - 8:00 p.m.

We are honored to have Guest Choirs each evening during the novena.

Dear Child of Mary,

As the Feast day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel approaches, the Sisters and I invite you to join us for the Solemn Novena min her honor. When you come to the Novena each evening, you come

to the land that Mary owns, for she is Mother and Patroness of Carmel, par excellence, and it is she who welcomes you.

For those who wish to participate in the full program, each evening’s services begin with a Marian Musical Prelude in the Chapel at 6:45 p.m., followed by Rosary and Benediction at 7:15 p.m. and is climaxed by the Eucharistic Liturgy in the Garden of Carmel at 8:00 p.m.

Each evening during the Homily at Mass, Father Auro will help us to look through the lens of Mary’s life to see how she lived the Beatitudes as the first disciple of Christ her Son. When Jesus appeared on this earth, He brought to us the offer of His Love. In following her Son, with Him, she too desires only one thing for us, for our world today and that is Love. We hear of brother hating brother, wars and bloodshed. We hear of Christians and Jews being persecuted and even dying for their Faith. We hear of the loss of value for human life, and on and on — where there is no love and no peace. God is all love, the love that Jesus came to show us in His life and through His Mother, Mary. Through the example and intercession of Mary, may she show us how to increase love in our world today! She invites you to come and see!
